Welcome to the second 3MUN conference at the Dreilinden Gymnasium in Berlin-Wannsee,
“All great stories start with a great idea and great enthusiasm that overcomes all obstacles.”
This is especially true for 3MUN. The idea of hosting an own conference has crossed every delegate’s mind at some point, but this idea is often dismissed as too difficult or unrealistic. Yet a small group of students with a profound interest for diplomacy supported by a very committed and enthusiastic teacher, have taken on the task of running this conference. However small and unprofessional this conference may be, it may as well become a beacon of something highly enriching and educating. And despite the size of the conference, featuring only three committees and a hand full of organizers, this conference has the potential to give birth to new thoughts, new ideas and new friendships.
Fueled by the spirit and doctrine, that diplomacy and discourse have the potential to avoid conflicts and benefit all parties involved, this conferences theme of “Strengthening diplomatic relations in times of crisis by developing compromises “ has been chosen within this spirit.
We are hoping to convey this message of true diplomacy and enlighten the world with new ideas and wish every participating delegation the most fruitful debates…
